Past Weekend
This past weekend we had lots of archery to choose form.
Starting things off was the 6th Annual Evans County Indoor; they shot on Friday night and two times Saturday. They had 116 archers compete.
For all you 3D shooters you had lots to choose from.
On Saturday
Christian Bowhunters of GA had their 1st shoot of the year. With it being there sate shoot 1st pace wins a belt buckle. The rain put a damper on the shoot with 50 shooters toughing it out.Elbert County Archery Club also had 35 shooters ventured out in the rain on Saturday.
On Sunday
DS Archery had a good start to 2012 having 89 shooters.
In the north Black Mountain had a good shoot on Sunday.
Also fort Gordon had 59 shooters.
World
We also have an archer represent Georgia in the Indoor Archery World Cup (stage 2) in Nîmes France; George Ryals IV finished 94th out of 293 shooters.
This weekend coming up
For all the indoor spottie’s Putnam Co has their 2nd annual indoor tournament.
As of 3D and Saturday you can chose from Full Draw Archery, Sweetwater, or Banks County which is the 1st Leg NGA SOY.
On Sunday Full Draw Archery will be doing it again, Also River Bottom Outdoors, and Circle C Archery.
We will have some guys going to shoot in Lancaster PA this weekend. Lancaster Archery always does it up right. Best of luck to you all that are going.
